EPISODE 20: HAPPY NEW YEAR! Well, we take a week off and everything happens. We review matches vs Palace, Leicester and Bournemouth in What Was That? A discussion about the board had to be this week, so we talked briefly about the Dildo brothers. A healthy helping of Social Shenanigans with the audio from Canning Town Len’s latest YouTube video, and we thank our new social media followers. Then Wayne and Adam present the Top 5 centered on West Ham managers. Finally we get Rory on the show, as he came up with the song and chant segment name, Pie and Mashup! We finish with a listeners contest and some news of things to expect in 2020!
EPISODE 19: We start today with a tribute to West Ham legend, Martin Peters… R.I.P. you gentleman. Adam and Wayne then dive into a West Ham Christmas themed podcast with a song challenge and Fairytale of West Ham by @CanningTownLen from twitter. Thanks Len, and check out his YouTube page and website at West Ham Film. The lads then share their West Ham leaning Christmas Carols before moving onto Social Shenanigans. A run down of the West Ham team of the decade (Top Shelf and from The Well), then the two wish everyone compliments of the season!! Happy Christmas, and a healthy and prosperous New Year to you all!
EPISODE 18: We were all waiting for two things on December 14th… a Win and News about Pellegrini. We got a great win, but has the board started fishing for a manager to replace Gandolph the Gormless? Is Adam a flip flopper and has Wayne lost it completely? In today’s episode we review the match in What Was That and then give you a helping of Social Shenanigans with posts from @Michailantonio and @SKirky7, as well as Going Full West Ham by @jackgambardella. Then it’s onto Penalty ShotOut with a decidedly dodgy shot at the end of it. Hosted this week by Podcast Fan and Gooner @Vinjenius. Hear how Adam nearly crushed a 13 year old hahahahaha!
EPISODE 17: I know you need cheering up the same as us! So we dug deep, put in a few calls, and collected on a favor to get you this week’s episode. A “double portion” of What Was That includes reviews of both the Wolves and Arsenal matches. The Arsenal What Was That, includes a slightly inebriated Adam who makes a confession! Social Shenanigans follow and then on to a brand new segment called… The Top 10 with Jimmy Sullivan. Adam then does a 60 Second and 5 Minute Rant on a topic we both feel strongly about and we round out the show with Big Sam, Slaven Bilic and Rob Snodgrass. Enjoy and keep your spirits up!
EPISODE 16: This episode is a bumper length and will be great on the way to and back from where you are going. It was a ton of fun to record and we hope you laugh as much as we did! It was great beating Chelsea and David Martin was our “Man of the Match!” After reveling in the victory we do a little Social Shenanigans with some great posts from our listeners among others. Pie and MashUp has a distinctly “Blue” tint to it as we go through some celebratory chants to get under Chelsea’s skin. We complete the perfect day with a Penalty ShotOut hosted by American Hammers TV OG, Tim Melican. Celebrate with us on this episode and remember what a great day it was!!
Episode 15: These days it gets more challenging to be positive, but drinking copious amounts of alcohol certainly helps. What made these two bury the hatchet… and not in each other? Find out in the opening minutes and then enjoy Wayne and Adam’s mood swings between elated and depressed. Has Adam turned to #PellegriniOut yet? in What Was That, the lads discuss the Spud’s match, managers and players. Followed by some great Social Shenanigans, Would You Rather, and a Pie and Mashup for the history books. Quite frankly… the Lads are delirious in this episode… utterly cuckoo!!!
EPISODE 14: AHTV- FRIDAY NIGHT LIKES, PART 2: The dramatic conclusion to the Lads being on AHTV’s Friday Night Likes. John and Wally put Wayne, Adam, and James through a Penalty ShotOut that is full of controversy… again!!! How a certain person ended up the winner is a question you have to ask as it seemed a bit dodgy. Regardless they all partake in some pub humor and end up the way of the title… Brahms and Liszt. Our now famous ITK Jimmy Sullivan closes the episode out and reminds you all that the next episode will be back on Wednesday.
