OUR STORY SO FAR
West Ham friends (Londoners who now live in Texas) decided it was time to take their love of the Hammers to the next level and that is why this podcast is a reality. But not just your regular old rehash of the same old Hammer’s news and opinions… oh no! What we offer is new and stimulating Claret n Blue opinions wrapped in some slightly warped British and Americanized humor!
In our 20-40 minute long audio shows you will have great audio segments to look forward to such as: What Was That, Social Shenanigans, Pub Talk, Penalty ShotOut, Two Truths and a Lie, Going Full West Ham, Bag Heads, and lots more West Ham nuggets and laughs!
Think of us as a mix between the ESPN Sports Desk, Saturday Night Live, Match of the Day, Top Gear (for Football), and James Corden all covered in salt and vinegar and then doused in a sweet delicious BBQ sauce. As listeners, you will play a major part in our show, and we look forward to engaging with you on social media!
You, the FANS are so much part of this podcast and we look forward to your input as we wind our way through each episode. Our hope is that you have a laugh and get some new insights on hearing differing sides to relevant West Ham situations of the day! Plus we plan on dripping some Hammers History into the episodes whenever it’s possible. Have an idea for an episode or a fun story to share, just hit us up on social media with the hashtag #CHEERS
An episode released each week, usually on a Wednesday, will feature match discussions, previews, social media, banter, reviews, predictions, pub humour & laughs! So please follow us on social media and join our mailing list and get notified of our upcoming podcasts and blog posts .

Wayne McMullen: Producer & Co-Host and wearer of a fake tattoo!
Wayne has been a West Ham supporter for too many years to mention and his first match was in 1971, when he was 7, and West Ham beat Chelsea 2-1. Originally from Wimbledon, all the way at the other end of the District Line, he now calls Texas home after living in New York City and Atlantic City NJ. These days he finds himself immersed in the world of YouTube and podcasting and is active with American Hammers TV and the Denton Diablos FC of the NPSL. Wearing many hats that include producer, host and editor, he is at his happiest teaching his seven-year-old daughter Lily how to do silly voices, support West Ham United, and embrace the world with both arms (crossed of course!).
- You can never have too many friends with questionable pasts.
- My pockets are full of sunshine and chocolate biscuits.
- The long flight made me need a bacon sandwich.
- It is always important to check for ample bog roll before using a public loo.
- Sorry, I was daydreaming about West Ham winning the FA Cup.
Adam (BILLY THE HORSE) Frankel : Co-Host and Screamer of “Refffffffff!”
Adam was a season ticket holder in the late 90s and early 2000’s, growing up in Theydon Bois, Essex before life took him to Hull, Minnesota and now to Frisco, Texas where he sells parts for big Heidelberg printing presses. His first West Ham game was in 1996, when Tony Cottee scored the only goal as West Ham were 1-0 winners. His favorite game was the only game he managed to attend with his Grandad, in a famous game where West Ham beat Spurs 4-3 and we were introduced to Hartson and Kitson! Living in Texas he goes to see the local MLS team FC Dallas play regularly, attempts to play 7 a side every Monday night, and loves to play escape rooms.
